Customer Story: Eva's Augusta White Kitchen

A kitchen designed for more everyday moments

Eva lives in Clonskeagh, Dublin with her husband and two children. While planning her new kitchen, her vision was simple: to create a space where her family could truly come together.

"I wanted it to be a happy place." Eva explains, especially during early mornings and long winter days. More than just a functional room, she wanted a kitchen that would bring light, warmth and energy into daily life.

Creating more light with Augusta White

Eva was immediately drawn to the Augusta White for its ability to brighten the space and reflect natural light throughout the day.

 "I was just drawn to it." she says. ‘It gave me that warm, bright kitchen I wanted.’

The clean white finish creates a timeless look, while also helping the room feel open and uplifting, even on the greyest mornings.

The island: the centre of family life

Including an island was a key priority for Eva, and it has quickly become the most-used part of the kitchen.

‘We spend a lot of time around the island.’

From casual breakfasts to evening chats, the island now anchors daily life in the home. 

Adding personality through thoughtful details

To make the space her own, Eva carefully selected finishes that would add warmth and character.

• Copper Handlesintroduce a subtle contrast and a sense of individuality
• A crisp white worktop enhances the bright, clean aesthetic
• Glass cabinets help to open up the space while adding visual interest

These small design decisions work together to create a kitchen that feels both personal and polished.

A standout feature for the whole family is the Prestige Larder, "it has all our foodstuff in there, so you're not searching for different foods in different cupboards." Eva says. With built-in drawers, internal sockets and ample shelving, it’s a practical solution that reduces clutter while enhancing the overall flow of the kitchen.

Designed around real life

Eva’s kitchen was carefully planned to suit how her family actually lives, cooks and moves through the space.

• Integrated appliances maintain a clean, seamless look
• Bins under the sink allow for quick and easy clean-up
• A dishwasher beside the bins keeps everything efficient and within reach

One of Eva’s favourite features is the Le Mans Corner storage, designed to eliminate awkward, hard-to-reach spaces.

‘A pet peeve of mine is digging in cupboards,’ she explains, making this solution both practical and satisfying to use.

Together, these features create more ease, more efficiency and more enjoyment in everyday routines.

Expert guidance at every step

Eva brought her ideas to life at the Cash & Carry Kitchens showroom in Sandyford working with expert designer Aaron Sheridan.

" I found Aaron great. He's very relaxed." Eva tells us. "He asked the right questions so he could understand what I needed from the kitchen."

Being able to see and experience different features in person made a real difference.

‘It just made the design process really easy when you can see everything in front of you.’
