The Hampton Two Tone Kitchen
Mary tells us that she chose the Hampton Two Tone Kitchen door-style because it had a classy and chic feel to it. A solid wood kitchen was their preference so they were delighted to find a solid ash option with the Hampton. They chose the cotton white kitchen with a contrasting grey island "It breaks the kitchen up, it makes the island feel a little bit separate" Mary tells us.
"The Hampton has a real classy feel and we decided straight away, that was the door for us"
Storage
When choosing her kitchen, Mary wanted a space that worked for her and her family. This includes clever storage solutions to make life a little easier. "For me, the Le Mans pull out storage is a must. I have a very bad back so I found it fantastic for storing pots, I can just pull it out I don’t need to lean down, it's really easy and it hides all of the things you don't want to see in the kitchen ", says Mary. The kitchen is equipped with lots of storage solutions to make the space as accessible as possible "The bins in the island really work well for us, the chrome trays in the half larder, we love them." Mary tells us.

Finishing Touches
When it came to choosing the finishing touches, Mary looked at the overall kitchen and what accessories she felt would best complement the Hampton Two-Tone. For the worktop, they wanted something that would be as long lasting as the kitchen itself, with a matte finish. This lead them to the Calcutta Marble Worktop. "We loved the way it had a kind of meandering grey element to it so it does tie in with the island and there's a warm tone to it so it matched with our brass handles. We found then that the two went really well together" explains Mary. To complement the brass handles, they added the Fiore Yen Gold Tap to bring extra warmth to the space.
The gold tap perfectly complements the worktop and brass accessories
The Cork Showroom
Mary and her husband visited the Cash & Carry Kitchens showroom in Tramore Road in Cork where they worked with expert designer Kathryn Shanahan. "Kathryn did everything we wanted, she took the stress right out of it. ", says Mary. "I found dealing with her really good...It's clear that she has the experience.".
Mary thoroughly enjoyed the experience in Cash & Carry Kitchens, Tramore Road. "If we were to change the kitchen in 20 years, we would go back."
