Customer Story: Laura and Damien's Augusta Graphite Kitchen

Laura and Damien's kitchen

Laura Kerr lives with her husband Damien and their two children in Ennis, Co. Clare. They wanted a kitchen with plenty of space where they could all sit together as a family.

Laura tells us "I wanted somewhere that when I came home with the kids after school, I could prepare dinner and the kids could sit doing their homework, and it was more inclusive." 

The Augusta Graphite kitchen

Laura tells us that she knew she wanted the Augusta Graphite door-style the minute she saw it. "I wanted that country kitchen feel, but in more modern twist." Laura explains. 

An island was a must for them, so that they could spend time together as a family. The gold handles were the perfect finishing touch. 

Kitchen Layout

Laura and Damien wanted a space that worked for them and their family. Their designer, Sinead thought about what they wanted and planned the kitchen to suit their needs. She incorporated a pull out spice rack  next to the cooker for easy access. "All my preparation is in one place. I don't have to rummage around the kitchen." Laura tells us. 

Having integrated bins next to the cooker was a revelation for Laura, she tells us, "I never would have thought of it, but it just makes cooking so much more practical. I'm not carrying scraps across the kitchen. It's right there. Everything I need is at hand."

The Prestige Larder

The Prestige Larder is Laura's favourite feature of her kitchen. Built with internal worktops, drawers and storage space built into the doors, the Prestige Larder is a great way to optimise space and keep all the essentials accessible "I love that everything is to hand in it. It's got everything I need in one space." Laura says.

The Limerick Showroom

Laura and Damien visited the Cash & Carry Kitchens showroom in Limerick where they worked with expert designer Sinead Coloe. "Sinead couldn't have made the process any easier. Just a pleasure to deal with. She asked us loads of questions, made sure she established all of our needs." says Laura. "She came up with things I didn't even know I needed, and it was just amazing."

Laura and Damien said that their experience in Cash & Carry Kitchens Limerick was really easy. "I was absolutely thrilled with my experience with Cash and Carry Kitchens. It was just such an easy process."

Finished Kitchen

Laura explains that the kitchen has become a social space for the whole family. "Christmas last year was an absolute dream in our new kitchen. We found everybody gathered around the island. It really became a social hub. Nobody was in the living room this year. It was all about the kitchen."

She finishes by saying "I couldn't be any happier".
